Interpreters
EDIT language services
do not end with
translations. Sometimes the service of one or more interpreters is
required for a convention, fair, trade negotiation, job visit etc.

Therefore, as for
translators, we also have access to interpreters who have been selected
through years of collaboration. The interpreters, who are not only mother
tongue speakers, but who also come with qualifications and work experience in
line with the customers requirements, are available through the EDIT head
office in Como, or directly to the customers location, or at whichever
geographical location as specified by the customer.
We have a capillary network of interpreters throughout the world, such that we
are in a position to offer our services with no extra costs for travel,
hotels etc.
Our interpreting services
are essentially the following:
SIMULTANEOUS: interpreter
works within an appropriate cabin, equipped with headphones and microphone.
The translation is transmitted directly to the customer via their headphones.
CONSECUTIVE: all
parties involved (customer, interpreter, counterparty) are physically present.
The interpreter listens to and translates the sentences for both parties (or
at least for the benefit of the customer).
NEGOTIATION: is the
most informal and convenient solution, adapted for small groups of people. The
interpreter listens and translates informally so as to guarantee clear
understanding for all the parties present.
CHUCHOTAGE: a
technique similar to consecutive interpreting. In this case the translation is
whispered into the ear of the interested party.

Is it possible to have an interpreter in my company head office?

Certainly.
Our organization is present on a capillary basis
throughout the world. We are in a position to send
an interpreter to your business, or to wherever
they are required with no extracost for travel,
hotels etc.

Analogous to that for translations, an EDIT member of staff is entrusted
with the task of following every aspect of the
activity. You will be in a position to contact
this person at any time for any information
regarding your interpreting activities.

Do you have professional speakers?
|
Our speakers are experienced in radio and advertising. Their voices are
suited to film advertising and audiovisual aids in general.
